I’m in awe of life and its possibilities. And during this period of uncertainty, as I transition out of studenthood and begin to carve out a life for myself, there’s one thing I’m sure of: I’m here to make the most of it and contribute my best to the world.
I’m a trained journalist – about to graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University. I majored in broadcast, but also studied the art of newspaper, magazine, and online journalism. As a student, I interned at Global TV where I worked as a chase producer on the Morning News. The hands-on experience I gained at Ryerson and Global has helped to refine my talents in communication, research, observation, and analysis. I also gained skills in on-camera performance, and a proficiency in video and audio recording, production and editing, as well as writing for various mediums.
Some of the things I’m most interested in are learning, gaining new experiences, inspiring others, writing, travelling, photography, music (both experiencing and creating), nature, politics and reading. Above all else, I value freedom, truth, love, happiness, knowledge and the present moment.
