It seems like the “Boston Tea-Party” style protests for economic freedom across the US is being met with an attack on personal freedom.

Poor weather and permit problems are threatening to put a damper on the kick-off to anti-tax “tea party” protests Wednesday.

One million tea bags delivered to a Washington, D.C., park were reloaded and sent away because tea party organizers did not have the proper permit.

It’s kinda like the 1773 protest, except these days you need to get a permit from your government in order to protest it. Dale Everett illustrates the point well.

PEOPLE who go – PLEASE film it yourselves, and post it on YouTube!!

Hannity will not be our friend on this! No news network is going to accurately portray how it went, who was there, etc.

Make our own news!

I agree with mcgee. The media can’t even get the cause of these correct. It’s not about taxes or spending. It’s about a large, unresponsive Federal government that insists on illegally intruding into our lives and violating the Constitution at every turn.

Taxes and spend[ing] are merely one symptom of the disease.
